That deep-rooted sadness trills within me—
watching, observing, and living through me,
hiding in the shadows of sun rays that fall on me.
Within those folds of window sills,
it sits fluidly,
as if touching the sun somewhere,
stating it feels joy in these moments.
Still hiding,
a core of light
shrouded in the cloud of air.
It vanishes as the rain falls,
yet its presence haunts
the waking.
